01. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Wholesome Paws website (wholesomepaws.com), placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our site or services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the effective date at the top of this page.

02. About our products

Wholesome Paws offers custom-formulated dog food, treats, and related pet nutrition products. All products are manufactured in facilities that follow standard food safety practices. We strive to provide accurate descriptions, ingredient lists, and nutritional information for every product.

• Custom orders are prepared based on the profile you submit at checkout. Please ensure all pet information (weight, age, allergies, health conditions) is accurate.
• Product images are for illustration purposes. Minor variations in appearance,      color, or packaging may occur between batches.
• Ingredient substitutions may occur due to supply availability. We will notify you of any changes that materially affect the nutritional profile of your order.

Our products are intended for healthy dogs unless otherwise specified. Always consult your veterinarian before making significant changes to your dog's diet.

03. Ordering & payment

All orders are subject to product availability and confirmation of your payment details. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; a contract is only formed once we send an order confirmation email.

• We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods      displayed at checkout.
• Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The      price charged is the price displayed at the time of your order.
• Sales tax is applied based on your shipping address and applicable state and      local laws.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion,      including orders suspected of fraud or placed by previously banned accounts.

04. Subscriptions

Wholesome Paws offers recurring subscription plans for regular deliveries of your dog's custom food or treats. By enrolling in a subscription:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the      frequency you select (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).
• You may pause, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your      account dashboard, at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing date.
• Cancellations made after the billing cutoff will take effect on the following billing cycle.
• We may adjust subscription pricing with at least 14 days' notice via email.

05. Shipping & delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Wholesome Paws is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

• Custom orders typically ship within 3–5 business days of order confirmation.
• Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
• For perishable items, we use insulated packaging and ice packs. We are not      liable for spoilage resulting from delivery delays outside our control.
• If a shipment is lost or significantly delayed, please contact us at      support@wholesomepaws.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

06. Returns & refunds

Because our products are custom-formulated and perishable, we generally cannot accept returns. However, we want you to be happy — and so does your pup.

• Damaged or incorrect orders: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a      photo of the issue. We will reship or issue a full refund at our discretion.
• Quality concerns: If your dog refuses the food or shows signs of intolerance, contact us. We may offer a reformulation, store credit, or partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
• Unopened non-perishable treats: May be returned within 14 days of delivery      for a full refund, excluding original shipping costs.
• Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

07. Animal health disclaimer

Wholesome Paws is not a veterinary service. Nothing on this website or in our product communications constitutes veterinary advice.

Our custom meal plans are based on general pet nutrition guidelines and the information you provide. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary care. You are responsible for:

• Consulting a licensed veterinarian before placing your dog on a new diet, especially if your dog has a known health condition, allergy, or is on medication.
• Providing accurate and complete information about your dog's health profile during onboarding and updating that information if it changes.
• Monitoring your dog for any adverse reactions after introducing new food and seeking veterinary attention promptly if needed.

Wholesome Paws shall not be liable for any adverse health outcomes arising from the use of our products when you have failed to disclose relevant health information or to follow veterinary guidance.

08. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a US resident to create an account and place orders. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at contact@wholesome-paws.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse our returns or promotions policies.

09. Privacy & data

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference, describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and your dog's health profile data. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with service providers (e.g., shipping carriers, payment processors) as necessary to fulfill your orders.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Wholesome Paws website — including recipes, branding, copy, photography, and custom formulations — is the property of Wholesome Paws LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wholesome Paws LLC, its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services, including but not limited to veterinary costs, loss of pet life, or loss of data.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim in the 90 days preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages. These limitations may not apply to you.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Dripping Springs, Texas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP infringement claims.

You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Wholesome Paws.
